Monfils plays great on home tournaments, when homecrowd gives him a "wings" and he play much more better. His defencive style is dangerous for Cililc, so Cilic can produce too much unforced errors. Monfils have a huge first service so he use it when somthing going wrong and powerful shots from the baseline, while Cilic is simply ultra aggressive player. I think Monfils has all chances to advance.

I think Tsonga here is clear favorite, Nadal played two difficult matches and only luck helped him to advance. Stepanek is a chocker imo, his serve and volley style is unstable, so he can loose his serve if something will go wrong. Last year he lost here to Tsonga in first round, he lost the game that he should won `cause he led with a break in third set, but failed, it is his own mistake. So i expect that this year will be the same for him. He played three weeks in a row, so he must be a bit tired. So Troicki has all chances to advance, with the help of Stepanek maybe too.

Nice bet i think. Yes Santoro now got couple of looses. He lost to opponents that he should defeat - Montanes, Stahovski and others. That`s not good. But not crucial, Blake now in terrible form too. I remeber his match against Kunitsyn, that was afwul and he plays in US! His returning skills are terrible, he produces stupid errors and he plays also awul out of US.
