I said at the start of the season that Lierse and Mons are the best teams of 2nd division. I still think so, even after both teams took an average start. Mons have lost on the first round to Waasland that has very good 7/9 result and won at Wetteren with a late goal. It was a difficult start, but now they have first home game of the season, it was alway an advantage for Mons playing at home. They have a very good squad with "local" players that want to prove that their previous clubs were wrong. Most of them are also well talented.
Antwerp is a strange club. They played very well at Lierse and took 1 point (2-2) but played not good last week against Brussels and lost 1-3. In that game the referee didn't helped Antwerp and gave 2 penalties and 2 red cards to Brussels, but still Antwerp was not like 2 weeks ago. I still think Antwerp is weaker on road. Antwerp gets always a very good support but it's friday evening and it's difficult for Antwerp supporters to get there, so a lot of Antwerp fans organized a "huge screen" in Antwerp stadium.
Anyway, Mons have big ambitions for this season, and at home they always must win such games.

Serbia in group with Bulgaria, Italy and Czech.. Three first placed teams will go to next round.. Serbia is one of biggest favourites on whole Ep. Bulgaria here without Plamen Konstantinov.. Not best squad.. In bad form untill WL when Bulgaria was 3rd in first phase (groups), where Cuba and Russia were 1st and 2nd in group. Serbia here in best squad..Only Maric and Bjelica are not here but they didnt play even 1 minute on WL.. great squad, great atmosphere. In great form because there wasnt time for relax (WL,qualifications for WC, now Ep) I expect Serbia's win 3-1..
May be it is early to make a bet here but some news forced me to do this. Ankaraspor have a lucky run so far. They collected more then they deserved so far in previous matches. Last week was a similar result thanks to the red card of Tabata they hold draw against Gaziantepspor. Unlike previous seasons they are not such successful in defense. On Friday we heard that Ankaraspor sold two important players Ediz and Mehmet Cakir to Ankaragucu. They have also some injury worries including Konate, Hanifi and Ozgur. Today another fresh news that their eight players were poisoned and six of them are in hospital. But they can be ready on Monday. Rumours of Ankaraspor and Ankaragucu will be unified is an another worry for the players. Galatasaray rested key players in European League match and Reijkard told that he won't make rotation in the squad. While we can't talk about supporter advantage in Ankara, full squad Gala is too strong for lucky Ankaraspor.
I think this game won't be nice and full of goals. Both teams played on thursday, Vila at home against Rapid and they'll be disappointed to go out of Europa League while Fulham qualified but had to fly far away to East Russia for game against Amkar. So those games on Thursday might influence both teams in negative way in my opinion. Villa looks to not be in good form, despite that 3:1 away win at Anfield Road on Monday. They still are bad in positiona attack and prefer to play away then at home and to use counter-attacks then hold the ball. Fulham on the other hand is very strong at home but in away games they tend to defend and keep it low-scoring. Last season they had 11:18 goal record in 19 away games. They played two under 2,5 games this season as well and they are missing their main source of goals, that is Andy Johnson. Last five Aston Villa-Fulham games in Birmigham were low-scoring: 0:0, 2:1(with late 90 minute goal), 1:1, 0:0, 2:0. I can see another low-scoring draw here.
2 worst team in the league this season. Both have 0 point after 4 games and have or will have coach changed. I see differance between 2 teams. Zaglebie is playing awful most of players are debutant in Ekstraklasa and their plays show that this is too high level for them. They lose 13 goals in 4 games so average 3 per game! What's more Zaglebie have lot of injured players right now Aleksander Ptak, Sreten Sretenović, Szymon Pawłowski, Łukasza Jasiński and banned for red card Micanski will not play in that game. Michal Golinski was sold to Cracovia which is another weakness. During the week they compromise in Polish Cup and lost to 5 league team Piast Kobylin and it was heave lose 3:1 ! One great info for them that Franciszek Smuda will be their coach but after this game with Arka. About Arka I can say that they are not so bad like Zaglebie if they lose they lose just 1 goal differance all 4 games. They have problems with scoring just 1 goal but under new coach they presented big determination and fight spirit and should score something in game vs Wisla. I see more ruff on visitors so they should get something here.
