What bonuses do sportsbooks offer?

There are various types of bonuses. The most common of them are Cash, Free and Money back or Refund bonuses.

Cash bonus is a certain sum of money added to your bankroll in a sportsbook. For instance, a player put a €100 deposit in a sportsbook that currently offers 100% cash bonus (up to €100) to all new visitors. As the result, his bankroll in this spotsbook will be increased to €200! To cash this money out a player needs to meet one condition: to wager the received bonus several times.

Other words, the total volume of his bets should exceed the received bonus up to several times. Every sportsbook offering cash bonus defines its own clearing terms. For example, if a player is expected to wager a bonus 5 times, it means that he can cash out the money only when the total volume of his bets reaches €500. The volume of bets doesn’t really matter in most cases. Sometimes sportsbooks set additional terms of bonus crearance, for example they set a minimum bet odds - for example, 1,5 or more.

Free bet bonus is a certain sum of money offered as a free bet. Free bonus differs from cash bonus as this money don’t have a real value. It's a conventional sum designed for placing a bet only. When the free bet is placed this free money goes back to the operator. If this bet doesn’t win, then the player will neither get nor lose anything (as he bet the free bonus money). However, if this free bet was a winning one, then the amount of the winning (except for the bet itself) adds up to his bankroll as real money. It is not to be wagered again but should be easily cashed out or placed as new bets at sportsbook.

Money back bonus or "Refund bonus" is a certain sum of a bet that will be completely refunded by the sportsbook in case of a loss. As a rule, the lost sum goes back to the player's bankroll under some circumstances (set by the sportsbook offering this type of bonus), for example, when soccer match ended with 0:0 score, referee displayed a red card, one of the goals was scored by a certain player and so on.

How big are sportsbooks bonuses?

The average sportsbook bonuses vary from €20 to €150. But there are some special offers as well. For example, in September 2006 a MANSION sportsbook offered its players to bet €1000 for opening NFL match and in case of its loss promised to refund the whole sum!

Why do spotsbooks offer such bonuses? The reason is the natural competition in the online gambling world. Every online gambling and sportsbook site tries to attract as many players to sign up as possible. That’s why they offer various bonuses to players. Sportsbooks bonuses give you a wonderful opportunity to make more money on sports betting. Don’t miss this opportunity!
